A Silent War that Sounded No Guns

I’m lost in a dream,
reality hurts.
I can’t speak the truth,
I don’t know the words,
But words are insufficient,
they just cause more pain.
Your words stung me hard,
think mine did the same.
They’re just words you use,
to explain what you don’t know
And all your words mean nothing
when my soul is aching so.
I have no more comebacks.
There’s nothing left to say.
Silence is my only weapon,
just let me walk away.
