A Wigwam for a Goose's Bridle

A lot of the time, I post poems as I write them or a few days later, however I also post a lot of old ones I’ve rediscovered. I do try to annotate these with a date, or approximate year, or a comment about their age, but sometimes I forget. Have done that a couple of times recently and had some people who know me freak out a little that they weren’t up to date with any news they needed to hear. Obviously happy to be asked if you’re thinking that, but if the contents of the poem seem out of sync with what you know about my life right now, it really probably is that I just forgot to tell you it’s old.
