“My lord consigned the doctor and his words of wisdom to a place of great heat.”
Georgette Heyer is up there in my top 5 all-time authors list. The fact that she was 17 when she wrote The Black Moth makes it even more amazing. Truth is, I’ve read this before, more than once, but when NetGalley offered me an ARC of the new edition I jumped at the chance, because it’s never not a good time to read her again. Heyer is the queen of historical/regency romance. Classic setting. Hooking plot lines. Witty writing. Move over Bridgerton.
